Period mounted in "Frack" style comprising of 1) A Red Crescent Medal (Hilal-i Ahmer Madalyasi); 1903-1923 issue; in bronze; large decorative suspension bar inscribed in Arabic letters “Ottoman Red Crescent Association” on white enamel bar; circular central white enamel medallion bearing a red enamel left-facing crescent; original ribbon; measuring 28 mm in diameter. 2) An Austrian 2nd Class Red Cross Merit Award (Ehrenzeichen für Verdienste um das Rote Kreuz, II Klasse); 1914 issue; in silver-edged white enamel with silver-edged red enamel inserts; with loop for suspension; the face with central circular white enamel, encircled by a red enamel ring bearing the inscription in gilt letters “Patriae Ac Humanitati” (Fatherland and Humanity); the reverse with a central circular white enamel medallion bearing the dates “1864” and “1914” in silver; original ribbon; measuring 45 mm x 37 mm. 3) A Baden Volunteer War Aid Cross (Badischer Landesverein vom Roten Kreuz); 1914-1916 issue; in zinc; with loop for suspension; original ribbon; 38 mm x 38 mm. 4) Oldenburg Friedrich August Cross; 2nd Class; 1914-1918 issue; in blackened iron; with loop for suspension; original ribbon; 39 mm x 39 mm. 5) Friedrich-Luise Medal; in gilt bronze; portraits of Grand Duke Friedrich I and Grand Duchess Luise; maker makred “RM” at the base (Professor R. Mayer of Kahrlsruhe); attached to ribbon via large loop; original ribbon; measuring 38 mm in diameter. 6) Order of the Zähringer Lion; Knight (Second Class); in silver; on the obverse, a circular central enamel medallion, handpainted, depicting the Zähringer family crest; encircled by gilt ring; arms of the cross crafted in fine green glass; on the reverse, a circular central medallion crafted from red enamel, bearing a gold lion in the centre; encircled by gilt ring; on loop for suspension; original ribbon; measuring 39 mm in diameter. 7) Order of the Crown, Fourth Class; 1867-1918 issue; in bronze gilt; the face with a central circular blue enamel and gold script “Gott Mit Uns” (God with us); with crown of Prussia depicted in the centre; on reverse the Prussian royal monogram, encircled by a blue enamel ring bearing the date 18 October 1861; chip to reverse enamel, with loop for suspension; original ribbon; marked on bottom of 6 o'clock arm "W" for Wagner; measuring 43 mm x 43 mm. 8) Prussian Order of the Red Eagle, 4th Class; 1879-1919 issue; in silver; circular central white enamel medallion bearing a hand painted red eagle; arms of the cross are pebbled in texture and appearance; the reverse bears the royal monogram in the centre; with loop for suspension; marked Z in between arms, original ribbon; measuring 39 mm x 39 mm. 9) Merit Cross for War Aid (Verdienstkreuz für Kriegshilfe); in blackened alloy; instituted 1916; with loop for suspension; original ribbon; measuring 40 mm x 40 mm. In generally in near extremely fine condition. Notably, zinc of the Baden Volunteer War Aid Cross is heavily corroded due to age. A Fine Medal Bar that has an impressive, colourful appearance, extremely fine.
