Silver medal, bearing “DER TAPFERKEIT” (Translation: For Bravery), surrounded by a laurel wreath on obverse, reverse bearing bust of Franz Joseph I and stamped “TAUTENHAYN”, measuring at 31.12 mm (w) x 41.43mm (h) (to top of ring suspension) and measuring at weighing at 18.3 grams, with correct replacement ribbon, pleasing tone, extremely fine.
