An Austrian Knights of the White Cross in Vienna Medal 1929
An Austrian Knights of the White Cross in Vienna Medal 1929 - Bronze, engraver initialed on the obverse, 35 mm, original triangular ribbon with safety pin attachment, near extremely fine. Footnote: The White Cross was founded in Berlin in 1890 and was an evangelical Christian organization. The portrait on the Knights of the White Cross in Vienna Medal may be that of the head of the White Cross in Vienna and commemorate his tenure from 1900 to 1929, but this is only speculation.
