Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original tri-fold ribbon with functional magnetic metal snap button, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse with pebbled arms and a central applique in the form of a stylized Habsburg imperial eagle, the reverse plain, with an illegible maker’s mark on the ribbon’s snap button, measuring 33.82 mm (w) x 37.17 mm (h), weighing 17.4 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near extremely fine condition.
