(Militärdienstzeichen für Offiziere) Instituted 19 September 1849. Third Issue 1890-1911. A Leopold cross paty constructed of gilded silver and mother-of-pearl, the obverse centre bears the crowned double-headed eagle coat of arms of Austria, the arms of the cross are pebbled with a pebbled border and a smooth edge, the reverse is mother-of-pearl, with a roller-shaped suspension loop, on a triangular yellow ribbon with black stripes, measuring 32.75 mm (w) x 36.69 mm (h), very fine.
