1. Military Bravery Medal on War Ribbon with Crossed Swords, Bronze Grade (1914-1917) (Militär-Verdienstmedaille "Signum Laudis"). Instituted in 1890. In bronze gilt, measuring 30.7 mm (w) x 51.2 mm (h) inclusive of its crown suspension, spotting evident on the reverse of the crown, scattered gilt wear overall, crossed swords clasp in bronze gilt affixed to its original triangular ribbon with hook and eye.
2. Merit Cross "1849", Type III (1914-1918) (Verdienstkreuz). Instituted in 1849. In silver with red enamels, Austrian hallmarked with a dog's head flanked by the number "3" (.800 silver fineness) on the left and the assay city mark "A" (Vienna) on the right, and maker marked "VM" (Vincent Mayer of Vienna) on the ring, measuring 36 mm (w) x 57.8 mm (h) inclusive of its crown, intact enamels, original triangular war ribbon with hook and eye.
Better than very fine and near extremely fine, respectively.
