What's a max bid?

(Ordensschnalle). A medal bar for an Austro-Hungarian First World War combatant featuring seven decorations, including:

1. A Bravery Medal, I Class in Silver, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised and rightward-facing bust of Emperor Franz Joseph, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse bearing a central wreathed inscription of “DER TAPFERKEIT” (“TO BRAVERY”), the obverse engraver marked “LEISEK” for Friedrich Leisek, measuring 40.28 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.

2. Karl Troop Cross, constructed of zink, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 29.35 mm (w) x 32.24 mm (h), with oxidation and loss of finish evident, in very fine condition.

3. A Wound Medal, constructed of silvered zink, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, the obverse engraver marked “R. PLACHT”, measuring 37.90 mm in diameter, with loss of finish evident throughout, in very fine condition.

4. An Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918 for Combatants, constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse bearing central wreathed dates “1914-1918”, unmarked, 37.92 mm (w) x 42.30 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.

5. An Austrian War Commemorative Medal, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 36.32 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.

6. A Tyrol Defenders Medal, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 33.98 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.

7. A Hungarian War Commemorative Medal, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 37.24 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.
