(Verdienstmedaille des Niederösterreichischen Mobilisierungsaufgebots 1797). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period correct replacement ribbon, the obverse with a raised rightward-facing profile of Franz II, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with an inscription of “DEN BIEDEREN SOEHNEN OESTERREICHS DES LANDESVATERS DANK MDCCXCVII” (“TO THE WORTHY SONS OF AUSTRIA, THE FATHERLAND’S THANKS”), surrounded by oak leaf branches, designer marked “I.N. Wirtt” on obverse, measuring 39.12 mm in diameter, weighing 17.8 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
