What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

Austria, Imperial. An 1849 Merit Cross and Military Merit Medal

An 1849 Merit Cross, Type III, Civil Division, I Class Cross with Crown, bronze gilt with red enamel arms, the obverse medallion features the initials FJ, the reverse with the year 1849, the cross is surmounted by a crown with a red interior cap, marked on ring, measures 36.9mm (w) x 59.5mm (h – inclusive of cross adorned crown suspension), the reverse medallion has been re-enamelled, missing enamels in the cap, worn on replacement ribbon, in near very fine condition.

A Military Merit Medal, Franz Joseph, in silver gilt, the obverse featuring the bust of Franz Joseph, the reverse bears the inscription SIGNVM LAVDIS encircled by a wreath, the medal is surmounted by a crown, worn on a triangular military ribbon, measures 30.8mm (w) x 50.6mm (h), light wear and oxidation to medal, ribbon discoloured, remains in very fine condition.
