An Order of Leopold Knights Cross in Gold with War Decoration  - with Grand Cross Miniature; Cross, in Gold and enamels, 31mm x 31mm, marked FR (Rothe, Wien), along with Imperial Austrian 14 Kt. Gold hallmark; crown with KD, 25mm x33mm, in silver gilt, ring marked VUW, along with Austrian silver hallmark; with Grand Cross miniature Star with KD mounted on a ribbon, in silver gilt and enamels, measuring 20x20mm, with bolt and oval backing plate. Gold cross is of circa 1900 manufacture, without enamel chipping; crown and miniature star circa 1914-17 period manufacture, with slight enamel flaking, in extremely fine condition. Its common to find an older manufactured Gold cross combined with a WWI period silver gilt crown.
