In silvered metal with red, white and blue enamels, maker marked "R. SOUVAL WIEN 7" on the reverse, obverse illustrating a left-facing skull above mountains, inscribed "4.Coy" above the United Nations insignia and "78" to the left of the skull, a snake's head to the right of the skull, inscribed "UNDOF AUSBATT" above the Austrian Armed Forces insignia at the base of the shield, measuring 43.5 mm (w) x 58 mm (h), vertical pinback, intact enamels, residue evident on the reverse from previous board mounting, near extremely fine.
