Two-piece construction, in bronze gilt, obverse illustrating the Belgian coat-of-arms, two figures backed by a caduceus and a mask at their feet representing arts and sciences to the left, two figures holding various tools backed by a derrick representing industry to the right, inscribed in French "L'UNION FAIT LA FORCE" (Unity is Strength) above, a rectangular plaque affixed below inscribed "I.A.C.E. / BRUSSELS CONFERENCE / SEPTEMBER 1962", reverse inscribed "CADETS DE L'AIR DE BELGIQUE" and "BELGIAN AIR CADETS" in the centre, framed by a wreath composed on a branch of oak leaves at the left and a branch of laurel leaves at the right, measuring 50.2 mm in diameter, light contact and spotting, better than very fine.
