Type II (Post 1908): Grand Cross: silver gilt with black and blue enamels, hallmarked and maker marked on the loop, 52 mm x 81 mm inclusive of its crown suspension, on a full-length sash; and Breast Star: multi-piece construction, silver gilt with black and blue enamelled insignia surmounted by a silver crown, mounted to a ten-pointed silver star base, maker marked "P. DeGreef 112. RUE DU MIDI BRUXELLES" on the reverse cartouche, 89 mm x 89.3 mm, vertical pinback flanked by dual prongs. Intact enamels, extremely fine. In their hardshelled case issue, crowned cypher of Leopold II on the lid, raised platform medal bed, case also extremely fine [C103].
