What's a max bid?

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A Rare Cased First War Bulgarian Air Force Observer's Badge; Type I

Badge made in silver, weighing 25.2 grams, hollow center, 42.33mm x 76.85mm, vertical pinback, of superb German manufacture, excellent details, with nice dark patina; unmarked badge, in extremely fine condition (for identical type of reverse pin set up on German pilot's badges, see Carsten Baldes, "Air Crew Badges and and Honor Prizes of Flying Troops", page 183-184"); together with a miniature (for chain/kette wear); and in fitted case of issue, specifically fitted and designed for this badge, with dark blue interior, showing age, very fine condition.

Footnote: First War Bulgarian Air Force Observer's Badge is rare; case is extremely rare, the first one I have seen in 35 years.
