Орден "Свети Александър", 5ти клас рицар. Instituted in 1881. In silver with red and white enamels, gilt lettering on the obverse centrepiece, hallmarked with a hound's head, the head flanked by a "3" (silver fineness) on the left and marked with the assay city mark "A" (Vienna) on the right and maker marked "FR" within a diamond (F. Rothe) on the integral suspension, measuring 38.3 mm (w) x 46 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension, intact enamels, on its original triangular ribbon with hook and eye, extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, Bulgaria coat-of-arms and inscribed "Св Александър СТ" on the lid, maker marked "ROTHE & NEFFE WIEN" on the inside lid, recessed medal bed, scuffing and light soiling on the exterior, case very fine.
