In bronze gilt, measuring 35 mm (w) x 40.3 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, very light contact, original ribbon, mounted to a five-sided aluminum suspension with pinback, near extremely fine. Accompanied by its Award Document, hardcover, red pebbled exterior, booklet numbered "No. 015527", named to Stoian Marinov Stoianov in Bulgarian, award numbered "462" and dated March 6, 1975, with official stamps in blue ink, measuring 70 mm (w) x 98 mm (h), document also near extremely fine.
Footnote: The Medal for Veterans of the Spanish Civil War was instituted on May 28, 1974 and was awarded to Bulgarian and foreign citizens who participated in the struggle with the International Brigades with Spain’s Republican Army against Franco’s Nationalists.
