Aluminum, die-stamped Croatian Army swastika badge; measuring 60 mm in diameter; lacquered swastika in center and surrounded by oak wreath. Footnote: With the establishment of the Independent State of Croatia in 1941, a German minority predominantly living in Slovenia were allowed to form a distinctive German-speaking regiment made up of entirely Germans within the Croatian Home Army, wearing Croatian Army uniforms, only distinguishing themselves through this distinctive insignia, so called “German Badge” sewn on to the upper part of the left sleeve.
