Croatian National Labor Service Dagger M-1944 – Mint

Croatian National Labor Service Dagger M-1944 - worn by NCO’c Officer’s of Croatian National Labor Service, manufactured by Braca Knaus. Fittings as well as scabbard are in bronze, plated over by darkened bronze, of high quality manufacture. Bronzed hilt fittings feature a circular pommel with a center obverse raised inscription, "NHD" (Independent State of Croatia) while the straight crossguard features a raised wheat leaf motif. Grip is synthetic white colored, in mint condition; blade is plain, maker marked, in mint condition. Scabbard is straight, bronzed, no dents, and retains 100% of original finish; this dagger comes with original and rare portepee. In mint condition, possibly the finest example of this very scarce dagger.
