I./486.; Formal Croatian document for the award of the “Golden Wound Medal”, it measures 17cm x 25cm, awarded to Grenadier Ernst Weyer; it reads, “for brave conduct in historic battle of Croats and Germans against the common enemy on the territory of the Independent State of Croatia, where he died honorably fighting for these ideals, for the honor of his offspring’s and future generations”; document is dated 24 December 1943, with embossed seal at the bottom left, and ink signature of General Perceivc on the right; in mint condition and very rare. Together with posthumously awarded Bronze Ante Pavelic Bravery medal, document is dated 24 December 1943, with embossed seal at the bottom left, and ink signature of General Perceivc on the right; in very good condition.
