An Austrian Commission Document to Major General Peter Blazic - Printed in black ink on a thick white paper stock, text in German, declaring that Peter Blazic had been promoted to the rank of "Generalmajors" (Major General) in the Austrian Army, dated June 20, 1908 at Vienna, signature in black ink below the text, large embossed Austrian coat-of-arms and "J. Whatman 1907 England" watermark at the bottom centre, signed by the Minister of War in black ink to the right of the coat-of-arms, 645 mm x 755 mm, fold marks, one small hole below the coat-of-arms, lightly soiled overall, very fine. Footnote: Peter Blazic was born on February 21, 1846. He served with the Austrian Army and retired in 1900. Blazic was promoted to the rank of "Generalmajors" (Major General) on June 20, 1908 and died on November 18, 1911, at the age of 65.
