(Spomen medalja "5 Prosinca 1918"). Instituted in 1943. In bronze, unmarked but known to have been manufactured by Braća Knaus of Zagreb, measuring 30 mm in diameter, edge nicks, light contact, replacement triangular ribbon with hook and eye, better than very fine.
Footnote: The Commemorative Medal "5 December 1918" was established on November 30, 1943, to celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary in 1943 of the rebellion against the establishment of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes (Yugoslavia) upon the proclamation of Prince Alexander Karađorđević of Serbia on December 1, 1918. It was awarded to all participants of the demonstration that took place on the "Jelacic Plac" in Zagreb on December 5, 1918, which ended in bloodshed. Serbian troops suppressed the rebellion, resulting in the deaths of thirteen individuals. Some 300 medals were awarded.
