What's a max bid?

Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A mixed lot of commemorative medals, including a Czechoslovakian Medal for Work Dedication, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 32 mm in diameter, accompanied by a ribbon bar, measuring 38 mm in length and with a horizontal pinback, the medal with some oxidation to the reverse, in overall better than very fine condition; a Czechoslovakian Medal of the Military Order for Freedom, Silver Grade, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with dual attachment needles, unmarked, measuring 35 mm in diameter, with some loss of finish evident, in near extremely fine condition; a a Czechoslovak Army Abroad Commemorative Medal, constructed of bronze, unmarked, measuring 38 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), missing its suspension loop and ribbon, in fair condition; a Czechoslovak Order of the White Lion ribbon bar, unmarked, measuring 40 mm in length, in near extremely fine condition; a Czechoslovakian National Uprising Commemorative Medal ribbon bar, set on a magnetic metal core with a horizontal pinback, maker marked “Z”, measuring 40 mm in length, in extremely fine condition; a Hungarian Highland Commemorative Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original tri-fold ribbon, unmarked, measuring 34 mm in diameter, with minor oxidation evident, in near extremely fine condition, and; an Italian Commemorative Medal for the Italo-Austrian War 1915-1918, constructed of coppered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with dual attachment needles, the obverse designer marked “S. CANEVARI”, measuring 33 mm in diameter, with some loss of finish evident, in better than very fine condition.
