Silver eight point star with red and blue enameled centerpiece affixed with silver lion and two crossed swords, in case of issue, bearing Czech “Za vítězství” (translation: for victory) reverse bearing makers mark, pin hallmarked with makers mark “KK” as well as “900” and silver hallmark for “900”, measuring at 54.42mm (w) x 53.17mm (h) and weighing at 38.6 grams, very fine.
Footnote: The Czechoslovakian Military Order of the White Lion "for Victory'' was established on February 9, 1945. It was awarded to Czechoslovakian citizens and foreigners for extraordinary military merits either personal acts of bravery or leadership serving the country. The orders could have been awarded as well to units.
