Layaway Policy

eMedals INC. is pleased to offer flexible layaway services to all clients. Our layaway program offers the opportunity for clients to make payments on eligible items over a period of three (3) months.

A minimum deposit of 30% of the total price of your order including all applicable taxes and Buyer’s Premium, is due at the time of initial purchase. The total price of your order must be paid within three months from the date of original purchase.

You may make additional payments at any time by accessing the Layaway section in your account or by calling our office and submitting payment details.

Your contract will be automatically cancelled and ordered merchandise will be returned to inventory if full payment is not submitted by the three (3) month deadline.

What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

Your entered maximum bid will not be disclosed to the seller or other auction participants at any point.

Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A mixed lot of six cased decorations and table medals, including a Czechoslovak Exemplary Worker of Culture table medal, constructed of silvered bronze, unmarked, measuring 79 mm in diameter, accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of a heavy card stock frame with a blue canvas exterior liner, the interior with a foam lid liner and depressed blue felt medal bed, closing with a functional bronze snap button, unmarked, measuring 115 mm (w) x 115 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a 1980 Slovakian Numismatic Company commemorative table medal, constructed of bronze, unmarked, measuring 69 mm in diameter, the reverse bearing an illegible designer’s mark, accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of a heavy card stock frame with a red canvas exterior liner, the interior with a foam lid liner and depressed red felt medal bed, closing with a functional bronze snap button, unmarked, measuring 112 mm (w) x 114 mm (l) x 30 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a Liptovský Mikuláš Military High School graduation medal, constructed of bronze, the reverse stamped with an issue number of “028”, measuring 60 mm in diameter, accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of a card stock frame with a red canvas exterior liner, the interior with a foam lid liner and depressed red felt medal bed, closing with a functional bronze snap button, unmarked, measuring 88 mm (w) x 90 mm (l) x 26 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a Victory in the Second World War 40th Anniversary Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 32 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition, accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of a heavy card stock frame with a red canvas exterior liner, the interior with a maroon felt medal bed, unmarked, measuring 76 mm (w) x 116 mm (l) x 25 mm (h), accompanied by a small award document named to (MAJOR GENERAL) “FRANTIŠKU NOVEKOVI”, measuring 74mm (w) x 105 mm (h), with an unrelated Dukla Commemorative Medal ribbon, in overall extremely fine condition; a 1939 Zlin dog show plaque, constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, unmarked, measuring 70 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of bakelite, the interior with a white rayon lid liner and a maroon felt medal bed, unmarked, measuring 80 mm (w) x 63 mm (l) x 25 mm (h), with some cracking along the hinge edge, in overall near extremely fine condition, and; a Sts. Cyril and Methodius Slavic literature commemorative medal, the obverse bearing a Nitra Numismatic Company dedication, measuring 70 mm in diameter, accompanied by its period original presentation cade, constructed of a heavy card stock frame with a maroon canvas exterior liner, the interior with a foam lid liner and depressed red felt medal bed, closing with a functional bronze snap button, unmarked, measuring 115 mm (w) x 112 mm (l) x 32 mm (h), with oxidation and deterioration evident to the case and medal, respectively, in overall very fine condition.
