A 1938 Czechoslovakian Passport with German Customs Service Photos

A Czechoslovakian passport, measuring 101x154mm, better than very fine condition with scuffing of the cover. The document is trilingual, Czech, French, and German. The owner is a young female student, Irmgard Finze, born 1922 in Teplice-Sanov. The passport can be used in Germany, Austria, and Czechoslovakia. It is dated to January 26, 1937 and valid for five years. It contains several country entry stamps from both 1937 and 1938. Two photos (97x70mm and 85x117mm) of a man in uniform have been added, possibly Irmgard’s husband. The uniform he wears identifies him as a post-war West German Customs Service official in the rank of Zollsekretär (Customs Secretary). There is also a post-war voucher for women’s stockings (74x39mm) for the British controlled German district.
