Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Czechoslovakia. An Army Officer's Uniform, c.1944

A lot of uniforms and caps, including a Czechoslovakian Officer’s uniform, consisting of a tunic and breeches. The former is constructed of olive-drab cotton twill, and features an integrated collar adorned on each side with tabs. Each tab is constructed of dark green wool with a buckram core, is irregularly-shaped, and measures 45 mm (w) x 82 mm (l). The shoulders feature straps, each constructed of an olive-drab wool base, with the top featuring a dark green wool core. Pinned to each strap are three five-pointed stars, each constructed of bronze, secured in place with a bronze button on the inner edge, and with machine stitching at the outer edge. The tunic features four pockets, with two on each breast flap, all opening with stylized horizontal flaps and reinforced buttonholes meeting silvered bronze buttons. It closes with six buttons on the right flap meeting an equal number of reinforced buttonholes on the left flap. All buttons on the tunic feature a classic crossed sword motif. The interior features a suspension loop set into the collar, as well as a magnetic metal clip for a flush fit with the wearer’s neck. Fully unmarked, the tuic measures 460 mm across the shoulders, with an arm length of 620 mm, and an overall body length of 750 mm. The accompanying breeches are constructed of identical olive-drab wool, and feature six belt loops set into the waistband, as well as an integrated belt consisting of two side straps adjusted with functional metal buckles. Dual side pockets are set into the upper thighs, opening with diagonal slits, with a single rear pocket opening with a horizontal flap. The breeches close with a French fly, featuring three magnetic metal buttons. A vertical slit is set into each ankle, adjusted with three magnetic metal buttons meeting an equal number of reinforced buttonholes, as well as a wool strap. The interior presents plain, and the breeches measure 410 mm across the waist, with an inseam of 300 mm, and an overall length of 955 mm. Patches of mothing and soiling are evident to the wool of both the tunic and breeches, and the set is in an overall very fine condition. Also included, as acquired, is an overseas cap, constructed of field-grey wool twill. It is fully surrounded by fold-down side panels, with gentle frontal scalloping. The interior features an olive-drab cotton twill liner, retaining a partially-legible maker’s mark on the crown. All insignia has been removed from the cap. It measures 270 mm (l) x 110 mm (h) when folded flat. Some fading and material fatigue is evident, and the cap is in an overall very fine condition.
