What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Includes:

1. sixteen Clasps for the Revolutionary Cross 1914-1918: in silvered metal with black patination, eight for participation in Russia (5, 6, 7 (3), 8, 10, 11), four for participation in France (22, 23 (2), 24), three for participation in Italy (31, 39 (2)) and one "ČD", measuring 10.5 mm (w) x 6.5 mm (h) each, all with both prongs intact and affixed to a maroon wool field with a cardboard backer.

2. three Patches:

(i) one bearing a silvered "1" clasp and a machine gunners clasp affixed to greenish brown wool base with a yellow chevron, trimmed in orange wool along the outer edge and reverse, measuring 58 mm (w) x 85 mm (h);

(ii) one bearing a "CS" insignia above a "34" in purple embroidery on a brown cotton base, with four bullion wire chevrons below, dark green wool backer, measuring 62 mm (w) x 145 mm (h);

(iii) one with a yellow chevron on a brown cotton base, trimmed in maroon wool along the outer edge and reverse, measuring 68 mm (w) x 85 mm (h).

3. two Collar Tabs: insignia in bronze gilt, affixed to triangular maroon wool base, with a Hessian backer, measuring 56 mm (w) x 45 mm (h) each.

4, two Shoulder Rank Insignia: each with a bronze and a silvered metal half-ball affixed to a rectangular base in maroon wool, measuring 45 mm (w) x 17 mm (h) each.

5. Bayonet Letter Opener: in silvered metal, magnetic, a full-length fuller on the blade on both sides, wooden handle secured in place via two pins, measuring 183 mm in length x 28 mm in width.
