Czechoslovakia, Republic. Two Bohemia and Moravia (Böhmen und Mähren = BuM) Civil Defence Armbands
Includes:
1. Civil Defence Red Cross Armband c. 1943 (in white cotton, with a large red cross above the designation "CPO" screen-printed in red ink on the front panel, with a Slovakian stamp in blue ink overlying the tip of the cross at the right, the ends sewn together at the rear, measuring 205 mm (w) x 106 mm (h), exhibiting scattered soiling);
2. Civil Defence Free Passage Armband c. 1944 (in white cotton, screen-printed in red and blue inks, inscribed with a large "CO" in white, flanked by "VOLNÝ" (Free) at the left and "PRUJEZD!" (Passage!) at the right in white text on the central red banner, inscribed "Ev. čís" and "Razítko štábu CO:" at the base of the blue background, the ends of the armband not sewn together, measuring 313 mm (w) x 106 mm (h)).
Very fine and near extremely fine, respectively.
