What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Czechoslovakia, Socialist Republic: Air Force Flight Mechanic Badge Stamping Tool c. 1952-1968 (metal plate bearing the image of the CSSR Air Force Flight Mechanic Badge, mounted via three pins to a magnetic iron base and coded "3-203" in white paint, the reverse of the base with a multiple nipple design, measuring 85 mm (w) x 78 mm (h))

Slovakia, Republic: Second War Flying Goggles c. 1942 (aluminum-framed, adjustable nose-piece, amber-tinted lenses, white rubber padding around the lenses, the right pad coded "V-299 73", the left pad coded "V-298 79", gray elasticized strap, measuring approximately 220 mm (w) x 75 mm (h), in their original 115 mm (w) x 48 mm (d) x 72 mm (h) magnetic army green painted tin, the lid hinged to the base along the back edge, marked in black marker "EARLY WW2" on the lid and "$150 SLOVAK 155 WW2 1942" on the bottom by a previous owner).
