Denmark, Kingdom. A Police Long Service Medal for Twenty-Five Years' Service, Boxed
Silver, 36.5 mm, on its original folded five-sided ribbon with pinback, light contact on the reverse, better than extremely fine. In its cardboard box of issue, Police coat-of-arms on the lid, recessed medal bed, scuffed on the exterior edges, box very fine.
Footnote: The medal was instituted on June 18, 1959 by King Frederick IX and awarded to policemen, office personnel and legal personnel after twenty-five years' service after their twenty-first birthday.
