All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

Estonia, Republic. A White Cross of the Home Guard, III Class

(Kaitseliidu Valgerist). Instituted on 19 June 1929. A Maltese cross constructed of gilded bronze, with white-enamelled arms, the centre obverse presents a silver eagle clutching a sword in one talon and the coat of arms in the other, superimposed over a gilded vertical sword, the reverse centre presents the date 11 XI 1918 (11 November 1918), measuring 38.79 mm (w) x 45.54 mm (h), on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in extremely fine condition.

Footnote: According to Estonian press information, approximately 6,000 persons were awarded the Cross of the Home Guard.
