A Maltese cross constructed of gilded bronze, with white-enamelled arms, the centre obverse presents a silver eagle clutching a sword in one talon and the coat of arms in the other, superimposed over a gilded vertical sword, the reverse centre presents the date 11 XI 1918 (11 November 1918), measuring 38.79 mm (w) x 45.54 mm (h), on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in extremely fine condition.
