In silver gilt, a shield shape with an 18K Gold stylized lily with five semi-precious stones (zirconia) in the center, reverse is plain and is marked Sofic & Co. S 950 and 18K, reverse also has the number 1428 hand engraved above the marks, the badge is suspended from a green decorative ribbon attached to a silver gilt rectangular suspension with four semi-precious green stones, the reverse presents a horizontal pin, measures 21.20mm (w) x 37.45mm (h – inclusive of ribbon and suspension), weighs 12.5 grams, ribbon is slightly frayed at the edges, lovely patina, knock to edge on left side, a very rare decoration in extremely condition.

The Golden Lily badge is a war award conferred upon the members of the armed forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who particularly stood out in armed opposition to the aggressor, who contributed to the expansion of the free parts of the Republic, who performed several acts in which their personal courage and self-sacrifice stood out and in which the aggressor was inflicted with significant losses in personnel and material resources.
This war award can only be worn by a decorated member of the armed forces, on certain ceremonial occasions, on the left side of the chest. 1,782 members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina were awarded the Golden Lily Badge, 982 of them posthumously.
