Fullsize: three-piece construction, in bronze gilt with red and blue enamels, measuring 45.5 mm (w) x 45.5 mm (h), single prong on the reverse, the ribbon separate from the medal and suspended from a hanger with dual prongs that is inscribed "MEXICO"; along with its Ribbon Bar, in bronze gilt red, white, green and yellow enamels, measuring 37 mm (w) x 10.2 mm (h), dual push pins; and Miniature: three-piece construction, in bronze gilt with red and blue enamels, measuring 21 mm (w) x 23.8 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, the ribbon separate from the medal and suspended from a hanger with push pin; along with its Ribbon Bar, in bronze gilt red, white, green and yellow enamels, measuring 19 mm (w) x 6.5 mm (h), dual push pins.

Three-piece construction in silvered and gilt bronze with green and white enamels, measuring 50.5 mm (w) x 50.5 mm (h), original ribbon suspended from a hanger with pinback, along with its Ribbon Bar in bronze gilt with clasp in bronze gilt and green enamels, measuring 36.7 mm (w) x 16.7 mm (h), dual push pins; and Miniature: two-piece construction, in silvered and gilt bronze with green and white enamels, measuring 24.3 mm (w) x 23.5 mm (h), original soiled ribbon suspended from a hanger with push pin.
