What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A mixed lot of four decorations, including an Italian War Merit Cross, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension, unmarked, measuring 38.15 mm (w) x 43.83 mm (h), weighing 19.4 grams, with loss of finish evident, in very fine condition; a Soviet Order of the Red Star, constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, the reverse with a threaded lug retaining an original backplate, etched with an issue number of “2958318”, maker marked “МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР” for the State Mint, measuring 48.57 mm (w) x 46.52 mm (h), weighing 41.8 grams, in extremely fine condition; a Soviet Order of the Badge of Honour, constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with pentagonal backplate and horizontal pinback, the reverse with an etched issue number of “425164”, maker marked “МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР” for the State Mint, measuring 33.34 mm (w) x 50.07 mm (h), weighing 45.9 grams (inclusive of ribbon and backplate), in extremely fine condition, and; a Romanian Order of the Crown, Knight’s Cross Military Division, constructed of silver with multi-coloured enamels, unmarked, measuring 37.63 mm (w) x 57.17 mm (h), weighing 16.7 grams, with significant chipping and cracking visible to the enamels of both the obverse and reverse, in fair condition.
