What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

Ecuador, Republic: Order of the Eloy Alfaro International Foundation (Orden de la Fundación Internacional Eloy Alfaro): two-piece construction, in sterling silver gilt with red and blue enamels, maker marked "BB&B" (Bailey, Banks & Biddle, Philadelphia) and marked "STERLING" on the reverse, measuring 17 mm (w) x 19.5 mm (h), original ribbon with pinback.

2. Greece. "Mussolongi to the Holocaust" by Christos Kapsalis Commemorative Medal 1828-1930 (Αναμνηστικό Μετάλλιο «Μουσολόγγι στο Ολοκαύτωμα» του Χρήστου Καψάλη 1828-1930): in coppered bronze, measuring 18.5 mm (w) x 21.3 mm (h), original ribbon.

3. United States: Order of Lafayette: three-piece construction, in silver gilt with red, blue, white and green enamels, measuring 14 mm (w) x 16.2 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally-pierced ball suspension, original ribbon.

4. United States: Order of the Stars and Bars: in bronze gilt with red, white, light blue and dark blue enamels, measuring 19 mm (w) x 21.8 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, original ribbon with pinback.

5. Kingdom of the Two Sicilies: Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George: in silver gilt with red enamels, measuring 17.5 mm (w) x 28 mm (h) inclusive of its crown suspension, original ribbon.

6. International: Byzantine Order: in silver gilt with red enamels, measuring 18.5 mm (w) x 33 mm (h) inclusive of its crown suspension, original ribbon.

Unmounted, intact enamels, original ribbons, one with a pinback, accompanied by one rogue miniature ribbon with ring, ranging from very fine to near extremely fine.
