Constructed of multiple pieces, constructed of Gold and old rose cut diamonds, the obverse centre presents the cipher of Ahmad I ibn Mustafa, over a Gold plate, with the Tunisian star and quarter moon above, marked on reverse, with a horizontal pinback, measuring 49.02 mm (w) x 74.04 mm (h), weighing 41.6 grams (inclusive of neck ribbon), on loop for suspension from period original neck ribbon, and in very fine condition.
