Circular bronze medal, the obverse bears a cross paty with a cross gammée imposed on crossed swords and a central rose of Finland encompassed by a laurel wreath, the reverse bears the inscription “1939-1945” with a screwpost and circular screw back with the maker’s mark “Hopeajaloste Oy of Helsinki”, measuring 36.70 mm, very fine.
