The badge with a two-piece construction, in gilt and blackened bronze, undated on the reverse, measuring 39.3 mm (w) x 67.3 mm (h) inclusive of its trophy of arms suspension, the coat-of-arms with both prongs intact, blackening and gilt wear along with contact marks evident, without ribbon, better than very fine.
Footnote: The Order of the Cross of Liberty was instituted on March 4, 1918 and is awarded in six grades: Grand Cross, I Class with Star, I Class, II Class, III Class and IV Class, plus a Medal of Merit, the ribbon in yellow for peacetime and in red for wartime.
