Finland, Republic: Winter War 1939-1940 Medal, Type III for Finnish Soldiers (Talvisodan muistomitali). Instituted in 1940 (in blackened iron, magnetic, inscribed "KUNNIA ISÄNMAA" on the reverse, measuring 31.5 mm (w) x 36.5 mm (h), original ribbon); Vatican: Medal for Troops which had Restored Papal Sovereignty, Type I with Engraver Mark "N.C." (Medaglia per le truppe che avevano restaurato sovranita pontificia). Instituted in 1849 (in bronze, measuring 31.8 mm in diameter, edge nicks, bruised, contact marks, replacement incorrect ribbon); and Vietnam, Republic (South Vietnam): Air Force Northern Expeditionary Medal, American-Made Version (Không-Quân Bậc-Tiền Bối-Tình). Instituted in 1966 (in bronze gilt, measuring 33.8 mm (w) x 42.5 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension, upward-pointing arrow in white screen-printed on ts original ribbon with pinback). Ranging from near very fine to near extremely fine.
