Order of the Cross of Liberty 1941, 3rd Class (blackened iron with a gold-coloured gilt, 39 mm x 65 mm); Order of the White Rose, Officer (silver gilt and enamels, 40.5 mm); Winter War Medal 1939-1940, Type III for Finnish Soldiers, 1 Clasp - KOTIJOUKOT (blackened iron, 31.5 mm x 36 mm); and Grand Duchy of Finland Commemorative Medal of the Old Finnish Army 1881-1902 (silver gilt, 32 mm). Mounted to a suspension with swing bar pinback, as worn by the veteran, original ribbons, light contact, extremely fine. Footnote: The Grand Duchy of Finland Commemorative Medal of the Old Finnish Army was awarded to members of the small independent army of the Grand Duchy of Finland, then part of the Russian Empire, established in 1881 and comprising 5,600 men which was suppressed in July 1901.
