Finland, Republic. A Finnish Red Cross Medal of Merit, II Class Silver Grade
(Suomen Punaisen Ristin ansiomitali). Instituted in 1931. In silver, maker marked with the Koruteollissuus Tillander Oy of Helsinki (1946-1073), marked with the National crown hallmark and marked "813H" (813 Hopea = Silver), Helsinki city marked and date marked "V6" (1950) on the reverse, measuring 28 mm (w) x 31.8 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, dark patina, edge nicks, residue evident from a previously applied sticker, original ribbon, near extremely fine.
