Two-piece construction, in gilt and blackened iron, magnetic, dated "1918" on the reverse, measuring 37.8 mm (w) x 63 mm (h) inclusive of its trophy of arms suspension, blackening and gilt wear along with contact marks evident, original ribbon.
2. two Winter War Commemorative Medals 1939-1940, Type III for Finnish Soldiers (Talvisodan muistomitali). Instituted in 1940. Both medals with 1 Clasp - RANNIKKOPUOLUSTUS (Home Guard): in blackened iron, magnetic, inscribed "KUNNIA ISÄNMAA" on their reverses, measuring 31.3 mm (w) x 39.3 mm (h) each inclusive of their integral suspensions, original ribbons.
3. four Army Cap Badges c. 1940: two-piece construction, Finnish lion insignia in bronze gilt, affixed to a bronze and red enamelled domed base, unmarked, measuring 20.5 mm in diameter each, all with both prongs and enamels intact.

1. The Order of the Cross of Liberty was instituted on March 4, 1918 and is awarded in six grades: Grand Cross, I Class with Star, I Class, II Class, III Class and IV Class, plus a Medal of Merit, the ribbon in yellow for peacetime and in red for wartime.
2. The Winter War Commemorative Medal was instituted on August 2, 1940 and was awarded for service in the Winter War and comes with fifteen clasps.
