What's a max bid?

WWII Finnish Winter War Campaign Pair and Side Cap to C.D. Roberts - War Medal 1939-1945; and Finland: Winter War Campaign Medal 1939-1940, Type II for Foreign Volunteers, 1 Clasp - KOTIJOUKOT (blackened iron, magnetic, 33.8 mm). Mounted to a suspension with swing bar pinback, as worn by the veteran, light contact, near extremely fine. Accompanied by an Army Side Cap (British-made, khaki green wool/cotton blend, the side flaps held up via a hook and eye closure and sewn into permanent position against the body of the cap, the two side panels are joined together at the front, adorned with two white metal buttons displaying "IN" inside a Finnish rose insignia, each marked "MADE IN B'HAM ENG" (Birmingham) on the reverse, the left side with a 52 mm white metal "IN" inside a Finnish rose insignia, held in place via dual lugs and pin, the inside stamped with the British Broad Arrow insignia, the "S. TRAVERS LIMITED" maker mark, dated "1939" and size marked "7 1/4", with a hand drawn skull and crossbones above the number "455" in black ink to the right of the Travers mark in the dome, the underside of the flap on the right side stamped with the British Broad Arrow insignia surrounded by the letters "V Q D", with the number "437" below, 120 mm x 305 mm), a Photograph of a Man (possibly Roberts) on Skis, c. 1940 (black and white, matte finish, 96 mm x 143 mm), along with copies of a Letter from the Finnish Aid Bureau (dated March 2, 1940, addressed to "Mr. C.D. Roberts, No. 455, 19 Harvard Rd., Isleworth, Middlesex", signed by Harold Gibson, M.C. Director of the Finnish Air Bureau, Thorney House, Smith Square, Westminster, London), a Short Letter of Inquiry from R.J. Ryder (asking for a list of the sixty-two men who had "left Finland in the early days for Stockholm") and a Newspaper Article from page 6 of "The Star" Entitled "Volunteer's Thrills in Finland" (describing a British party of volunteers that had gone to Finland in March 1940 to assist the Finns in their fight against the Russians).
