What's a max bid?

A traditional (1940’s-1980’s) French Foreign Legion Kepi; band constructed of black wool with gold bullion wire seven-flame grenade and gold bullion chin strap on front half attached on sides by golden buttons, with additional matching chin strap; single black loop on top section of band; crown crafted out of red wool with single black loop around outer edge of crown; visor made out of black Vulcanfibre with black leather sweatband and red velvet lining on the inside; no maker markings; 19.5 cm inside diameter, 10.5 cm tall; Leather sweatband shows aging and inside liner soiled with sweat stains, but otherwise fine condition.
