In silver, a white five armed enamelled Maltese cross with ball finials and green enamelled laurel wreath in each quadrant, the central medallion in Gold presents a right facing portrait of King Henri IV, surrounded by a blue enamelled ring inscribed HENRI IV.ROI DE FRANCE ET DE NA, the reverse medallion features three Fleur-de-lis, surrounded by a blue enamel ring inscribed HONNEUR ET PATRIE, surmounted by a silver crown with eight arches and horizontally pierced ball, worn on a striated ring with unidentified mark, measures 25.7mm (w) x 45.6mm (h), weighs 8.3 grams, immense loss of enamel to white arms and green leaves, missing ball finial on 3 o’clock arm, cross missing from the ball suspension, very dark patina, wear associated with time, in fine condition.
Instituted April 26, 1814. A reduced size decoration of the lily, presenting a white enamelled Maltese cross with a single Fleur-de-lis in each quadrant, the obverse medallion presents a silver Fleur-de-lis surrounded by a blue enamelled ring inscribed VIVE LA ROI, surmounted by a royal crown, reverse mirrors the obverse, mirrors 20.67mm (w) x 34.6mm (h), weighs 5.0 grams (including ribbon), heavy enamel damage, very dark patina, in better than fine condition.
