Group includes the Order of the Legion of Honour, Officer (Gold with red, white, blue and green enamels, approx. 36 mm x 51.5 mm, large rosette on the ribbon); Italy Campaign Medal (silver, engraver marked "BARRE" on the obverse, 30.5 mm); Great Britain: Crimea Medal, 1 Clasp - SEBASTOPOL (silver, 36 mm); and Italy (Kingdom): Order of St. Maurice and St. Lazarus, Knight (gold with green and white enamels, approx. 33 mm). Original ribbons, dark patinas on the two silver medals, all four awards mounted to a black background, handpainted interlocking initials "JH" in deep yellow and maroon in the centre, the medals within two handpainted branches in green and brown, illustrating oak leaves and acorns on the left and laurel leaves on the right and forming an open-ended wreath, under a convex glass, in an oval wooden-based frame, 430 mm x 510 mm, the reverse with a rope tied in place between loops on either side for wall hanging, the frame cracked at the bottom right, paper backer and rope age tattered, the medals unaffected, extremely fine.
