What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Silvered bronze, marked "BRONZE" on the reverse, obverse with the Serbian double-headed eagle, a medallion in the centre surmounted by a crown with the right-facing busts of King Peter I and Crown Prince Alexander, inscribed "PIERRE I" at the left, "ALEXANDRE" at the right and "GLORIEUX DEFENSEURS DE LA LIBERTE SERBE – СЛАВНИ ЗАТОЧНИЦИ СРПСКЕ СЛОБОДЕ 1914-1915" (Glorious Defenders of Serbian Liberty 1914-1915) and "JOURNEE SERBE" below, engraver marked "TSM LORDONNOIS GRAVEUR EDIT", reverse with the Serbian double-headed eagle, a medallion in the centre surmounted by a crown with a ribbon banner inscribed "SECOURS NATIONAL" (National Relief), bearing the arms of the eight Allied nations and surmounted by the French rooster, surrounded by the inscription "GLOIRE AUX INTREPIDES HEROS SERBES’ (Glory to the Intrepid Serb Heroes) and dated "1916" below, 31.7 mm x 44 mm, integral loop, light contact, near extremely fine. Footnote: The medal was issued on Serbia Day, June 25, 1916, for contributions to the charitable relief fund for Serb refugees set up following the invasion and over-running of Serbia by Austrian and Bulgarian forces in 1915.
