(Médaille commémorative de l'expédition du Mexique). Instituted in 1863. In silvered bronze, hallmarked and marked "BRONZE" on the edge, measuring 29.5 mm in diameter, very light contact, original ribbon, near extremely fine.

Footnote: The Expedition to Mexico Commemorative Medal was instituted on August 29, 1863 and awarded for service in the Mexican Expedition of 1862-1863.
