Group of Eight: Military Medal, Type III with Uniface Trophy-of-Arms (in silver gilt with blue enamels, dual cornucopia hallmarked and marked with a "1" between the cornucopias on the obverse, measuring 27.5 mm (w) x 47 mm (h) inclusive of its trophy-of-arms suspension, intact enamels); War Cross (Croix de Guerre) 1914-1918 with Bronze Star (in bronze, dated "1914-1917" on the reverse, measuring 37.2 mm (w) x 46.2 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally-pierced ball suspension); Combatant's Cross (in bronze, cornucopia hallmarked and marked "BR" on the reverse, measuring 36 mm (w) x 36 mm (h)); Commemorative Medal for the War 1914-1918 (in bronze, engraver marked "A. MORLON" on the obverse, measuring 33.2 mm (w) x 37.8 mm (h)); First World War Victory Medal, Type I "Official Issue" (in bronze, engraver marked "A. MORLON" on the obverse, cornucopia hallmarked and marked "BR" on the reverse, measuring 35 mm in diameter); Medal of the Committed Volunteers, Unofficial, 1 Clasp - ENGAGE VOLONTAIRE (in bronzed zinc, measuring 27 mm in diameter); Verdun Commemorative Medal, Type II (in bronze, engraver marked "VERNIER" on the obverse, measuring 26.7 mm in diameter); and Order of Academic Palms, Officer, Type III (1866-1955) (in silver with violet enamels, measuring 27.5 mm (w) x 38.5 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally-pierced ball suspension, enamel chipping and loss evident in both sides). Original ribbons, mounted to a bar suspension, with the ends embedded into either side of a wooden presentation case, itself lined in maroon felt and incorporating a swing hook closure along the bottom edge and a hook for suspension along the top edge. Group of eight accompanied by an independent Marshal Ferdinand Jean Marie Foch, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Allied Forces Commemorative Medal 1918 (in bronze gilt, engraver marked "AUG. MAILLARD" and marked "PARIS ART" on the obverse, measuring 28 mm (w) x 30.8 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension). Very fine.
