What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

France: Order of the Legion of Honour, Officer, Third Republic (1870-1951): in 18K Gold with red, white, blue and green enamels, hallmarked with an eagle's head on the tip of the ribbon on the obverse, measuring 39.5 mm (w) x 58.7 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally-pierced ball suspension; Comoros: Order of the Star of Comoros, Officer, Type II (1896- ): in silver with dark green enamels, measuring 43.2 mm (w) x 65.8 mm (h) inclusive of its crescent moon suspension; Greece: Order of the Redeemer, Knight, Type II with Jesus Christ's Head: in silver with blue, white and green enamels, Gold centrepieces, measuring 34 mm (w) x 55.5 mm (h) inclusive of its crown suspension; and Belgian-French Cooperation Cross, Officer: in bronze gilt with red, white, blue, yellow, green and black enamels, measuring 40 mm (w) x 61.2 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally-pierced ball suspension. Mounted to a traditional French bar suspension, original ribbons, the three Officer grade awards with large rosettes affixed, chipping and crazing in the white enamels on the arm at 5 o'clock on both sides of the Legion of Honour, chipping in the dark green enamels on the star point at 5 o'clock on the obverse of the Order of the Star of Comoros, chipping in the white enamels on the arm at 3 o'clock on the obverse and in the blue enamels on both centrepiece rings on the Order of the Redeemer.
